Technical Writer Senior (w/m)

Our customer, a leading company in Villach, is searching for a Technical Writer Senior (f/m) with Team Leadership Function.

Ihre Aufgaben: Responsible for writing technical procedures for internal and external customers. Obtain data from engineering sources, incorporate it into procedures and manuals, ensure accuracy and completeness and assist in formatting. Review and edit the work of other technical authors. Teamwork and attention to details are essential to this position. Lead technical documentation team. Collaborate with all engineering departments, product support and training department to define the documentation requirements, both in Villach and the US. Manage and monitor documentation PDR process. Obtain data from subject matter experts, incorporate it into original text, ensure accuracy and completeness and assist in planning layout. Responsible for the creation of Technical Memos, Preventive Maintenance Schedules, Upgrade Kits, etc. and assisting in the writing or reviewing of technical publications such as system installation and troubleshooting, assembly calibration, safety and retrofitting procedures. Release and control documentation in the ECM system. Review and provide feedback on work of other technical writers.

Ihre Qualifikationen: 7+ years of applicable experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, fluency in German is an advantage but not mandatory. Very good IT knowledge (Adobe Products FrameMaker, Acrobat) and Microsoft Products. Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work well within a team. College Degree (Master or PhD preferred). A high degree of flexibility, the capacity for teamwork as well as the ability to work under pressure is required. Structured and organized technical working. Analytical thinking is a must. Management skills are needed to take the team leadership for the whole group. Ability to innovate with changing requirements. Social and administrative skills to lead group. Semiconductor machinery or machinery industry experience. Engineering or Technical background. Adobe FrameMaker. XML. DITA. Content Management System. SharePoint. SAP. Adobe Photoshop.

Lohn/Gehalt ab EUR 2777,66 brutto monatlich, Überzahlung aufgrund von Qualifikation und Berufserfahrung möglich.
